Hey Guys,

So today me and Genki played a normal round Marine Arena.
After around 30min we it ended up in a 2v1. We had both over 10k minerals - he had 3k.

So he started upgrading ONLY Planetary. ( Armor, HP, Damage )
Even with way higher Bounty we got forced to wait until Sudden Death begins.

In my opinion every player should be able to only upgrade armor and hp 1x before sudden death hit.
( I think i never did it before since planetary is most of the times enough to counter a drop )

So what do you guys think?
Have you ever met a "Troll" who did that? Or maybe you did? :P

Happens all the time. Base defenses are way OP now. If range is upgraded as well, trying to destroy turrets with tanks is very risky because it is easy to place a new turret only to destroy the attacking tanks in seconds. No time to unsiege and you are guaranteed to lose at least 1 tank. What works moderately good is for 1 to go health upgraded temples and a m8 that plays a high damage merc, e.g. immo's. Temples will tank enough to allow the merc to destroy defenses. Destroy base defenses is another option, but placing new turrets is dirt cheap, didn't work well for me vs turtle.

On the other hand, base defenses (and their upgrades) are needed to give somebody that is behind in bounty at least a chance... Maybe just nerf base defense range, then tanks become viable again. Or maybe a new shop unit that soaks up a ridiculous amount of damage specifically from base defenses (not saviors).

base defences are VERY strong at the moment, its fun to play but pretty annoying for most players.

Notice the latest hot fix has reduced cannon splash.

I know what you mean about PFs, it just seems to drag games out. a Limit to the number of defences at one time maybe? (bar Auto Turrets)
