You guys remember them?

Any ideas on how to make them viable?

My ideas are:

1. increase yamato damage so that 3xyam + 3-4 merc attack ups can kill a thor.
2. Perhaps a slight decrease in price - 275? to get them up and running again.

the first idea wont work because of the thors special ability. sidenote mby that ability should take energy?
i like the cost decrease a lot more

Won´t matter since a click thor air dmg was buffed. Thor will kill it before yamato.

BC shouldn't get any buffs based on their DPS.
Since you can get them early in the Game it is really easy to counter melee player and force them to get anti air.

But a yamato buff can also increase the usage for sniping merc!

nobody suggested their dps should be increased? well right now thors obliterate any air elites/heroes on the map with their new air dps (which wasnt really in need of a buff either).
their damage should be nerfed but their air splash should be increased

almost as if their follow range of the anti air has been increased. been killing packs of oracles recently even after they had been retreating.... not that i'm bothered mind you.... I hate fucking oracles. nightmare to play vs sometimes.

i think thor air range is too high aswell. 12 range is like a siege tank so when the thor deals a crapton of damage too its like using reapers vs tanks for those using air elites/heroes

Their high range is necessary because of the phoenix lift range.

good point but they still shut down medivacs, oracles and ravens too hard imo.

don't forget that it is a negativ trade to get a thor for oracle / ravens. Even if you lose them you can just come back with a ghost and farm his thor. And then he spent the same amout of money to face a ghost :smile:
