These balance changes are under testing and will be applied once test games are finished and we have results.

Elites:

Hellion:
Fixed a bug causing hellion to do more damage from “incinerate ability”.

Mothership:
Reduced “Photon Overcharge” weapon range from 7 to 6.
Base Photon Overcharge damage has been decreased from 30 to 25.
Added in Elite Upgrade “Advanced Overcharge” +1 Weapon Range to “Photon Overcharge Weapon”.

Banshee:
Price has been reduced from 200 to 175.
Increased Banshee Base damage from 20 to 22.

Mercenaries:

Goliath:

Base range for “Anti-air” weapon has been reduced from 5.7 to 5.2
New maximum range for “Anti-air” weapon is 5.5
Base Attack speed for “Anti-air” has been increased from 1.3 to 1.5
Base Armor has been reduced from 2.5 to 2.
Removed the +0.5 armor per upgrade from Goliath “Training Upgrades 3x300”.
Added in “Training Upgrades 3x300” -0.1 to attack speed for “Anti-Air” Weapon.

Why did u stripped Goliath at all?
1.reduce range
2.attack speed (we all buy those upgrades but still)
3.Base armour
4.Upgrade armour
I think this update will make Goliath useless, and we will have Air arena soon.
There are to many downgrades to Goliath.

We already had 2 test games which showed goliaths being very viable.
Upgrade armor? Where do you see changing upgrade scale?
Its only "Training upgrades" removing the armor bonus which was making goliaths tankier than they should be.
Also in case you haven't saw, attack speed for anti-air weapon is buffed when having all training upgrades by -0.1. (1.3 vs 1.2).

I think armour on mechanised upgrades were a touch strong for what you get but I fear this will just give the green light for even more medivac/Raven/ Oracle abuse.

we can only wait and see!

Mothership was in no need or form in need of a nerf. the upgrade that isnt "advanced overcharge" will not have any use for overcharge at all which is boring.

very good. now just marines need a nerf and MA might take skill again. (there is a reason 4/8 players go pure marine meele nowadays (it takes no skill and rewards way too much))



in response to tpkpaul. oracles are already shit so i dont get how they could be abused. ravens can only abuse bad players. no need for goliaths to counter everything except temple zealots. and medivac is much weaker than it used to be (specially with the nerfs that werent included in any patchnote (such as making heal rate 1/3 of what it used to be)) and it drops units quite slowly so its not nearly as good at killing compounds or all-inning anymore either.
