My point still stands that it should be as obvious as possible so i think audio would be nice. However i am really happy with the colour change, step in the right direction for sure!

in my opinion, I think the answer here is quite similar to a previous thread about support tower beeing able to auto cast fast production on merc. At some points everybody must have to get awareness by checking text and messages. it is also one side of overall skills required for ma. Improving the color is ok for awareness. Maybe i push far, but just to go to the absurd, the next step would be to get a noise signal for cloacked ghost incoming...

i dont agree.


lets say im getting a ghost. right before it spawns i copy and paste
"NOTHING TO SEE HERE" in chat 10 times

like this,

then the messeage will be gone and even if you were actually looking at the chat you might not have seen it. so i think we need a method that isnt so random.

Please read "Daniels rant" which originally was for this thread.

As for dr lolotor taking it to alerting when cloaked ghosts appear, you completely throw my argument out the window which is that things that are announced should be announced properly and has thus no meaning whatsoever for what we are discussing.

For me sounds would be too much. I do think that hero alerts should never be missed though. So maybe make a sound whenever a hero spawns that you can turn on and off by clicking a button?

Ok here add a word.
The old hero alerts were better imo but due to people complaining that they would "not receive them", it has been put into chat. unfortunately there are not a lot of viable other options (imo bring back the old notifications)
Checking the messages is really not related to skill AT ALL unless we restrict messages to the first 30sec of a game which is also not the way to go. in a lot of games, high or low level the chat is so full of spam that it is literally merely a gameplay distraction to focus on it.
Bringing up an alert when a cloaked ghost is approaching is an inappropriate try to ridicule a perfectly fine discussion and merely makes the post laughable.
