why increase force fields energy cost? it doesn't even say in the tooltip that upgrading to kinetic field increases the energy cost or force field by 25.
Sentry counters temple zealots: So your making temple zealots better against sentries which is 1 of 2 things that counter temple zealots. cracklings does not hard counter temple zealots neither does
sentries are only viable late game and against melee units. whats the point in making the less viable?

My suggestion is to decrease the energy cost of force fields to 25. that will make them more viable.

Higher energy cost was placed due to forcefield under "kinetic field" having already a bigger radius size which results in 4 larger FF can cover up the same space of 6 normal forcefields.

The tooltip info about this will be added, and as for cracks not countering temple zealots, we will look into that.

Descreasing the forcefield energy to 25 will result in a sentry being able to forcefield & use Guardian shield at the same time without worrying about energy reservs.

It seems there was a bug causing "Crackling" counter against temple zealot not to work properly.
This is now fixed and the hardcounter is now working like it should, cracks take down temple zealots.

This fix will be included in the next map update.

if ff cost 25 you could forcefield way too much too often. i do think that the larger forcefields should also cost 50 as the small ones do because if they dont there isnt really a point in having larger forcefields

whats wrong with that? it will make them stronger. I rarely see people go sentry and actually do good.

Well, melee players complain about bigger forcefield on sentry being OP because of the low energy cost, on the other hand anti-melee players want less energy for the bigger forcefield in order to cast more. During SD if you hold mid which has 4 entrances, you are able to cast 4 bigger FF and cover all 4 sides for a while.

We will see about reverting back to 50 and include it in the next update, but 25 is very low and will be a FF spam all the time.
