I think most of us would agree that MA the most skilled should win, no luck.
So how do we do that?
Each time a unit attacks something, the attacker and and target, plays a game of chess and if the attacker wins it deals its dmg to the target.

I would like to hear you guys opinion on this.

Sounds like a really bad idea there is no mechanical skill in chess which is one of the most important skills in marine arena. Might as well play chess instead. How are u even supposed to implement that?

I think ur on the right track but it then fights would take too long. I think we should add an expansion pack with pedals and then force people to play guitar hero at the same time (would reccomend everyone to have 2 screens for this) and if you lose notes you either just die or you could just lose units/minerals. This would reward the most mechanically gifted players as well as give the game a more sophisticated aproach, bringing musically interested people into the player-base

Another idea that i think would be even better would be to reduce the fps of the game to 0.2 (down from 1). This would effectively remove lag, making the computers work a lot easier. It would also reward game sense, meaning that players will have to predict what will happen during the following 5 seconds. Keep in mind that this is 100% skill based since there is no lag involved, you only get to see what is happening every 5 seconds. Therefore it would still be very possible to perform medi plays and skillshots like yamoto/seeker/snipes when mastered

Eyyo, that's some excellent ideas. +1, +1 on that. I do think though, that the fps decrease should be 0.33.., so you have to predict 3 seconds, because otherwise it might be a bit boring.
