Hello everyone.

Giving input related to the new map and posting here results.
We had 2 test games 1 day ago, focused on how the performance is now that "almost" everything is added.

Results are very impressive showing over 50% better performance and we looking forward into releasing this for public use.

Like i said before, everything is almost added (including leaderboard, voting screen etc.) and something also worth mentioning is that when we were testing the perfrormance, kills counter was also enabled, while in current map is disabled.

I wanted to push and see how far can go having both bounty + kills counting, and yet even in very big fights, frames remained stable and the maximum drop we had was 25-30 fps, during intense big mass fights with zerglings, zealots, marauders, heroes etc.
We also tested SD being over 20+ minutes while SD was active.

Ofc the best thing over this is the map which adds a more better gameplay, which I'm sure most players (if all) will like and enjoy!
We are going to have some more test games before releasing to the public, and we will update this topic here with ongoing progress.

Thank you.

Hello.

We are now having test games on the new version in a daily basis, in order to check everything for any bugs or any other issues related to the game.
This is the final step before bringing the new version live for open public tests, therefore we want to ensure no big bugs will appear during public test games.

1 Important Thing to mention is about the performance, which still remains on the same level like in our previous test games, it is very stable on big mass fights and with an increase of 50%.

Further information and announcments will be posted.

Thank you.

Even though there are crucial steps to complete before public testing, amongst them the new Mercs counter circle, our 2 main goals are achieved. The new version runs smooth reaching 136 fps on a relatively idle status down to 36 fps on a heavy fight. And even though lag or laggers is an issue on current MA, players will find out that in the new map lag won't be an issue at all. The new abilities giving birth to new strategies yet to be discovered will pretty much leave no space for anything else.

Hey everyone.

Indeed we now carefully check all units and everything related to them to see if the data are correctly imported and if bugs occur such while upgrades, using abilities and etc...

As Raiden said, we can expect a public release of the new map in beta status in about 2 weeks

This times Raiweeks got a 0.5 week scale ;)

The map in beta version is now open to public. BuG checking and corrections are still in progress. So dont expect a bug free map at this point

Fantastic, looking forward to try it out!

To make the transition a little bit smoother, would one of you kind beta testers mind writing a brief list of changes (like balance philosophies/nerfs?) from the old one? Would be appreciated to not have to look at all the units' stats myself and compare those to the old ones :P
