Hello.

This is a sneak peak review on the upcoming balance changes for the next update.

Test Games will take place first before changes are implemented, plus more will be added before final update is live.

Base Defenses:

Increased all base defenses charge cooldown to 60 seconds from 45.
Increased all base defenses build cooldown to 10 seconds from 5.

Photon cannon:
Base Health has been reduced from 2000 to 1500.
Base Shield Health has been increased from 1000 to 1500.
Shield regeneration rate has been increased from 2 to 5.
Base damage is now set to 60 from 70.
Base armor has been increased from 1 to 2.
Base shield armor has been increased from 1 to 2.
Weapon Splash fraction has been reduced by -15%.
Health Regeneration rate has been removed.

Spine Crawler:
Added delay before hp regeneration starts to 10 seconds.
Increased hp regen from 1 to 3.
Weapon Splash Radius has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.35
Base Weapon Range has been reduced to 7 from 7.5
Removed “Heroic Bonus Damage”.

Bunker:
Reduced Base Structure Armor to 2 from 3.

Base defense “Auto-Turret”:
Weapon Range has been reduced to 5 maximum range from 7.
“Auto-Turret” damage no longer scales with “Mercenary attack upgrades”
Added with "Upgrade Base Defense Damage" Scale to +5 per upgrade.
Bonus Damage to “Heroic and Mechanical” has been removed.
Base health has been reduced to 400hp from 500hp.
Base armor has been increased to 1 from 0.
Added with “Increase Base Defense Armor” Scale to “Auto Turret” by +1.5 armor per Upgrade.
Mineral Cost has been reduced to 10 from 20.
Added on “Increase Base Defense Health” Auto turret health scale to +50 health per upgrade.

Mercenaries:

Zealot/Temple Zealot/Warp Zealot:
Reduced shield upgrade scale from “Mercenary Health Upgrades” to +5 from +6.
Upon “Temple Zealot Moprh” Health given is reduced to +25 from +45.
(New Total Health/Shield Upon Morph for Temple is 100 Shield & 150 Health)
Upon “Warp Zealot Morph” Health given is increased to + +55 from +50.
(New Total Health/Shield Upon Moprh for Warp is 70 Shield & 180 Health)

Goliath:
Increased base damage for “Anti-Air Weapon” to 13 from 12.
Increased base range for "Anti-Air Weapon" to 5.5 from 5.2 (New Maximum Range is 5.8)
(Reminder) Goliath “Anti-Air” Weapon has 50% Armor Ignore.

Void Ray:
Reduced Bonus “Damage Gained” from "Training Upgrades" for Prismatic Alignment Ability to +1 from +2.
Added 10% “Armor Ignore” Per Training Upgrade, having a total of 30%

Heroes:

Thor:
Increased “Anti-Air” base attack speed to 1.8 from 2.
Damage upgrade scale for “Anti-Air” has been increased to +8 from +5.
Damage upgrade scale for “Ground” has been increased to +10 from +7.5

Elites:

Disruptor:
Increased Mineral Cost from 200 to 250.
Increased Unit Charge Cool down Availability to 45 seconds from 30.
Removed “-0.5 Purification Orb Speed” From “Critical Blast Elite Upgrade”
Added “-0.5 Purification Orb Speed” to “Purification Overcharge” Elite Upgrade.
Removed “+0.25 Move Speed” from “Purification Overcharge Elite Upgrade”.
Added “+0.25 Move Speed” to “Critical Blast Upgrade”.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug causing the “1st Marine Health Upgrade” to give +20 health to Marines instead of +10.

Why if there is a new map coming out "soon" is there all these changes happening? Wouldnt it be smart to just focus on the new map, if it does exist. Sense all these changes wont do a thing once its done? Maybe there is something im missing?

Focus is on the new version, but that doesn't mean current version balance changes wont take place since there are certain requests about them :)

Why was photon cannon buffed but spine crawler nerfed?

Photon Cannon has been nerfed also.


Stats that have been nerfed:
-10 On base damage, -15% Less splash fraction per hit, removed health regeneration and added half of its total health to "Shields", which in case there is a ghost on a team, can simply EMP and remove half health instant.
In addition, received +1 armor (Shield/Health) and (+3 Faster regen on Shield Only).

With these upcoming changes, if a cost increase will be applied also, the maximum it can go is +50 more expensive.
Still this has to be tested first.
