We have somewhat of a balance with a few units in MA right now.
Now assume hunters or corruptor get nerfed, they might very well just disappear again and instead we have a new most played meta unit.
That is why we should not straight buff/nerf units, and instead change units in a way that only affect certain matchups and make the coutners work.

Example
1) Corruptor
-corruptor attack gets spelldamage
why? because PDD and neostell have spellresistance. so the only matchups affected by this change are Raven and Viking. Vikings will get a legit counter to corruptors.

2) Hunters
-lancer counter deals +5% extra damage vs hunters
-hunters starting damage -1
right now lancer only trade even with hunters, they do not actually counter them. the -1 starting damage is because hutners overall are a little 2 good.

NOTE: we do have extra % damage for counters only because some of the units in the counter circle do not naturally counter what they are supposed to. there is no way to make the counter circle work naturally, so we HAVE to change the % values individually if we ever want coutners to work

3) Immortal
-immortals recieve 10% less extram damage from counters
hunters already kill immortals pretty hard without extra damage. with the extra % on top they own immortals way to hard


4) Maraider
-stim only does -10 hp instead of % of health
i played mara a few times in premades now, and the very only reason it worked is because i add 2x medivac with heal-up. maraider alrady start with low hp. it is about impossible to make them work without medi. if that is fixed iam pretty certain they can deal with phantoms as supposed 2

+1 to everything but the Viking buff. Imo viks have no counter so them being stronger isn't a good idea. Unless you buff a counter vs them

unlike corruptor, vikings do not have an ability like corruption that can farm
right now corruptors counter all air units, including vikings. (which is a bad mechanic, just like ghost >> all)
having corruptors deal spell damage adds more units, that can handle corruptors (PDD, viking neosteel), and that be a good thing!
remember vikings dont have corrosiv upgrades so dubble phoenix is still going to own vikings, while vikings own corruptor, while corruptors own phoenix .

Changed my opinion. +1 vince instead. Vikings are mediocre against most stuff so the counter to vikings is to simply outfarm them
